The only full-time provider in the dermatology department which was under the supervision of six dermatologists from the University of Wisconsin Dermatology Department, who alternated the supervisory role for patient care and dermatology resident training. Responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of both new and established dermatology patients as well as performance of minor surgical procedures. Assisted the university faculty in training medical students, physician assistant students, and non-dermatology residents doing their dermatology training rotations.

2007–2008

Practiced primarily in the urology department; provided dermatology care one day each week in the family practice clinic. My supervising dermatologist had retired while I was deployed overseas.

2005–2006

Physician Assistant, Wisconsin Army National Guard (Active Duty).
Deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served as primary care provider to 300-man battalion while stationed in Kuwait. Also autonomously operated a once-weekly clinic exclusively for dermatology-related problems. At the time, this was the only military dermatology service in the Kuwait theater of operations.
